Xiaomi has started rolling out its HyperOS update for its devices from today. The company introduced HyperOS as a replacement for its decade-old MIUI skin in October.
The new operating system brings UI changes, tweaks and upgrades over its predecessor with faster app opening and loading times. Here is when the HyperOS update will arrive on your device.
HyperOS Update Rollout: Eligible Devices
Xiaomi has started the first phase of the HyperOS update rollout. The update will be sent to all eligible devices via an OTA.
Furthermore, eight devices will receive the update in the initial phase, with other devices receiving it later. According to the post by the official HyperOS account, the following devices will get the update in Q1 2024:

•Xiaomi 13 Pro
•Xiaomi 13
•Xiaomi 13T Pro
•Xiaomi 13T
•Xiaomi Redmi Note 12
•Xiaomi Redmi Note 12S
•Xiaomi Pad 6
Moreover, Poco F5 will also get the HyperOS update, becoming the first POCO phone to receive the update. The Xiaomi-owned company will announce the rollout date for other devices in the future.
Hyper OS Update New Features
The HyperOS update brings faster performance with better app loading and opening times. Xiaomi has optimized the interface to ensure a smooth user experience.
Furthermore, there are new UI changes in HyperOS, such as lock screen customization and a dynamic island-like pill for notifications. The company also plans to integrate its devices with each other for cross-device functionality with the update.
There are also new AI upgrades, including the feature to capture text in photos and the option to convert doodles into paintings. Users can also use their phone as a webcam with HyperOS.
