Xiaomi has launched its new Redmi 13C 5G series at an affordable price in India. The new Xiaomi Redmi 13C 4G and Xiaomi Redmi 13C 5G will arrive as the successor to the Redmi 12C series.
These phones bring significant upgrades compared to their predecessors and will be available on sale on Amazon, Xiaomi’s website and other online retailers. Here is everything you need to know about the Redmi 13C series.
Redmi 13C 5G Price In India
The Redmi 13C 5G price in India starts at Rs.9,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Furthermore, the phone has 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, retailing for Rs.11,499 and Rs.13,499, respectively. It will be available in three colours: Startrail Silver, Startrail Green and Starlight Black.
Similarly, the Redmi 13C will be available for purchase for a price of Rs.7,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant. In addition, there are two variants with 6GB+128GB storage and 8GB+256GB, which will be on sale for Rs.8,999 and Rs.10,499, respectively. The phone will go on sale in two colours: Starshine Green and Stardust Black.
Furthermore, the Redmi 13C 5G will go on sale on December 12 in the country, while the 4G variant will be available on December 16. Both phones will be sold via Amazon, Mi store and other retailers.
Existing Xiaomi users can get a Rs.1,000 discount with ICICI Credit and Debit cards or a Rs.1,000 exchange bonus on the 8GB variant of the Redmi 13C 5G.
Redmi 13 C 4G And 5G Specifications
The Redmi 13C sports a 6.74-inch HD+ panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the screen has a 1600 x 720 pixels resolution and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
Both phones run on MIUI 14, based on Android 13, and come with upto 256GB of storage. They also pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, although the 4G variant comes with a 10W charger in the box.
The Redmi 13C 5G runs on MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor and comes with up to 8GB LPPDDR4X RAM. On the other hand, the Redmi 13C 4G uses the MediaTek Helios G85 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM.
For optics, the Redmi 13C 5G features a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera and secondary AI sensor. In addition, the phone has an 8-megapixel camera for taking selfies.
Comparatively, the Redmi 13C 4G will have a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro, and a third sensor for depth data. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
Both phones have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port for connectivity. Furthermore, the phone has a splash resistance rating and a dedicated dual-sim tray.
