Samsung plans to introduce two new budget smartphones, Samsung Galaxy A05 and Samsung Galaxy A05s. The A05 will arrive as a successor to the A04 and has been certified on multiple platforms such as FCC, BIS and Wi-Fi Alliance. The Samsung Galaxy A05s renders have leaked before launch, providing us a glimpse of its design.
Samsung Galaxy A05s Expected Design and Specifications
According to renders leaked by MySmartPrice, the Samsung Galaxy A05s will have a tear-drop notch on the front, which Samsung calls the “Infinity U display”. An LED flash accompanies a triple camera setup on the back. Moreover, the back panel has a polycarbonate build with a textured finish for better grip.
The volume and power buttons are on the phone’s right side. Furthermore, reports suggest the power button could also function as a fingerprint sensor. This will make it the first A series phone with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Coming to the device’s specifications, the leak reveals it will feature a 6.6-inch display on the front with a tear-drop notch. A 3.5mm headphone jack, a speaker grille and a USB-C charging port are at the bottom.
Moreover, it has 167.9 x 77.7 x 8.8mm dimensions and will pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. The rest of the specifications remain unknown at this point, but it will be a budget device that will succeed the Samsung Galaxy A04s. It could be priced at around Rs.13,000 to Rs.15,000 and will arrive alongside the Galaxy A05.
