JBL will launch its latest true wireless earbuds, Wave Beam 2, in India on 17 December 2024.These earbuds are designed to deliver high-quality sound, clear calls and long-lasting performance.

They come in a ‘stick’ design that ensures a secure and comfortable fit, while the IP54 rating offers water and dust resistance, making them ideal for everyday use and outdoor activities. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) blocks external noise, creating an immersive listening experience, while the Smart Ambient Sound feature allows users to stay aware of their surroundings when needed. It is equipped with 8mm dynamic drivers, the earbuds provide JBL’s signature bass-rich sound. A quad-microphone array enhances voice clarity for calls, even in noisy environments.

For connectivity, it uses Bluetooth 5.3 with Google Fast Pair, enabling quick pairing with devices. The earbuds also support multi-device connectivity, allowing easy switching between two devices. The JBL Headphones app offers customization options for EQ settings and gesture controls. The Wave Beam 2 offers up to 40 hours of total playback time (including the charging case) to ensure long-lasting use.JBL is also focusing on sustainability by using recycled materials in the packaging.JBL will also launch the Wave Buds 2 on the same day, featuring a traditional earbud design with similar specifications. Pricing and availability details are expected to be announced before the release date. Separately, Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Buds 6 in India on 9 December.This new TWS earbud model features dual drivers for enhanced audio quality, ANC up to 49dB and spatial audio. The earbuds offer up to 42 hours of total playback time, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and smart features like dual-device connectivity and remote shutter control.
