Honor has launched two new smartphones as part of its Honor 200 series, including the Honor 200 5G and Honor 200 Pro 5G. Honor 200 Series Teased To Launch In India Soon
HTech CEO Madhav Sheth has teased the debut of the Honor 200 5G series in India on X (Formerly Twitter). The teaser also hints at the upcoming devices’ AI features and camera capabilities.
The company also recently revealed the arrival of the Honor Magic 6 Pro 5G and the Honor Magic V2 in India. With these launches, HTech is certainly gearing up for a launch spree in the country.
Let’s examine the specifications of the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro. Both phones have made their debut in China and will soon launch in India. The Honor 200 and 200 Pro are likely to have a starting price of Rs.30,000 and Rs.40,000, respectively, in India.
200 Series Specifications
The Honor 200 series will launch in India with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ curved OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the phone has a peak brightness of 4000 nits and 3840Hz PWM dimming support. You also get an eye protection mode with an AI Sleep Aid screen, adaptive 360-degree dimming, and natural light eye protection.
The Honor 200 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while the Honor 200 Pro relies on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Both phones run on Magic OS 8, which is based on Android 14, and offer up to 512GB and 1TB of storage.
For optics, the Honor 200 will arrive in India with a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto with 2.5x zoom. Similarly, the Honor 200 Pro will boast a 50-megapixel primary camera with an OIS 50-megapixel telephoto and a 12-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens.
On the front is a 50-megapixel selfie shooter for selfies with 2D face recognition on the Honor 200 and 3D face recognition on the 200 Pro. Both phones pack a 5,200mAh battery with 100W wired charging, while the Pro also offers 66W wireless charging.
