Chinese tech giant Honor has officially announced the launch date for its next smartphone series, the Honor 200. Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro were leaked earlier this week, which proved to be a sign that Honor plans to introduce the phones very soon. As it happens, Honor has just posted a teaser on Weibo confirming the 200 series will be unveiled on May 27.

Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro are set to launch in China on May 27th. The phones are up for pre-orders through Honor’s Chinese website. Further, this reveals the complete design of the phones and the colour options. The Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro will be available in four colour options,
Honor 200 Specs
The Honor 200 series features an oval-shaped camera module on the back panel. This module houses triple camera sensors and an LED flash. The Honor 200 could ship with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, while the Honor 200 Pro could get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Moreover, the Honor 200 series is expected to launch with a 50MP primary camera and OIS support. Furthermore, there could be a 32MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom. The camera hardware is similar to the predecessor, but the primary sensor is believed to be different (the Honor X100 came with a Sony lens). The phone might pack a 5,200mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
