Motorola Edge 50 Ultra Could Be 1st Phone To Launch In India With Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
A new report by The Tech Outlook has revealed that Motorola Moto Edge 50 Ultra, model number XT2401-1, has received BIS certification. This means the phone could launch in the country shortly after its global debut.
The Motorola Moto Edge 50 Ultra will be the first phone in India to use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. This 4nm chipset sits between the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 8 Gen 2.

Specifications Of The Phone
The Motorola Moto Edge 50 Ultra boasts a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2712 x 1220 pixels resolution. The screen’s peak brightness is 2800 nits and has Pantone certification.
The phone’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 powers it, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Moreover, it runs on Hello UI based on Android 14 and offers up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
For optics, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra boasts a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide-angle sensor. On the front, there is a 50-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. In addition, the phone will offer stereo speakers, IP68 rating and UWB (Ultra Wide Band) support.
