The Poco F6 is probably one of the most anticipated smartphones to launch this year. The upcoming smartphone is expected to offer powerful specifications at a mid-range price. A new leak has revealed the Poco F6 will boast a flagship camera sensor and superfast UFS 4.0 storage. It will likely be a rebrand of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Turbo or the Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 3. Here is everything you need to know about the Poco F6.
Poco F6 To Feature Sony IMX 920 Sensor And UFS 4.0 Storage
A new leak by 91Mobiles Hindi has revealed that the upcoming Poco F6 will offer UFS 4.0 storage and LPDRR5X RAM. This will be a huge upgrade over the Poco F5 5G‘s UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5.
Furthermore, the phone will use the Sony IMX 920 sensor, also used on phones like the Vivo X100 and the iQOO Neo 9 Pro. Currently, the Poco F5 uses the OmniVision OV64B4, a mid-range camera sensor.
This means users can expect good picture quality and super fast app opening times from Poco F6. Moreover, the leak also reveals the Poco F6 will boast Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection but will miss out on the 3.5mm headphone jack.
In addition, the Poco F6 is likely to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could opt for the in-display fingerprint sensor, an upgrade from the side-mounted one from the Poco F5.
Another major upgrade could be the processor, as the Poco F6 leak states it could ship with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. This new chipset uses the same architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but has slightly lower clock speeds.
For optics, the phone is likely to opt for a triple camera setup with Sony IMX 920 for the primary. It will likely use a massive 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging support.
Poco F6 leak indicates it could launch next month in India with a price tag of less than Rs.40,000. It is likely to be a rebrand of the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Turbo while some speculate it could rebrand of the Redmi Turbo 3.
