Realme has confirmed the launch of the Realme 12x 5G in India. The phone made its debut in China recently and will soon arrive on the Indian shores. It will be the fifth addition to the Realme 12 family after the Realme 12 5G, Realme 12 Plus 5G, Realme 12 Pro 5G and the Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G. Realme 12x To Arrive In India On April 2
Realme has confirmed it will launch the Realme 12x 5G in India on April 2, 2024, at 12 PM IST. The company is touting the phone as “The Entry-Level 5G Killer” and will offer 45W SUPERVOOC charging, a first in its segment.
Furthermore, the phone will go on sale via Flipkart and use the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. It will be available in Green and Purple colour variants in the country.
12x Expected Specifications
Since the Realme 12x is already available in China, we can expect it to have a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate in India. Moreover, the phone will have a peak brightness of 625 nits and pixel density of 395 ppi.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset will power the phone paired with up to 12GB of RAM. It will ship with Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 and offer up to 512GB of storage.
For optics, the Realme 12x will sport a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there will be an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Realme 12x 5G will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 45W SUPERVOOC charging support in India. The phone will also have an IP54 rating, dual speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
