It’s been only a few months since the launch of the Google Pixel 8 series, and now the renders of the Pixel 9 series are already going viral. Yesterday, the Google Pixel 9 Pro renders leaked, giving us a glimpse of the upcoming flagship and all its design changes.
A new leak has showcased the base Google Pixel 9, bringing a significant camera upgrade. Here is everything you need to know about the Pixel 9 Pro leaks.
Google Pixel 9 Will Have Triple Camera Setup
According to a leak by OnLeaks in collaboration with 91Mobiles, the Pixel 9 will have a compact form factor with a similar design to its elder sibling, the Pixel 9 Pro.
Furthermore, the phone also has a vertical camera module with a triple camera setup and LED flash. This is the first time that the base model in the Pixel series is getting three cameras with a new telephoto lens.
The current Google Pixel 8 has a dual camera setup on the back of the phone. According to the leak, Pixel 9 will be available in blue, apart from other colours, at launch.
Pixel 9 To Have Flat Edges With Compact Design
You also get a Google logo on the back, and the Google Pixel 9 has flat edges on the sides, similar to its elder sibling. The camera module is now in the phone’s centre but does not extend to the edges of the back panel.
On the front, there will be a 6.1-inch flat screen with a punch hole in the centre. You also get the power and volume rockers on the right side of the Pixel 9.
The left side remains clean except for a few antenna lines. At the bottom, you will be greeted by the USB-C port, speaker grille and microphone.
It will measure 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5mm and be 12 mm thick with the camera bump. The Google Pixel 9 series will likely use the Tensor G4 chipset and receive seven years of software updates.
We can also expect new AI features, faster chipsets and upgraded cameras in the Pixel 9 series. Google will likely launch its new flagship phones in October, running on Android 15 out of the box.
