New animation in Books

With the launch of iOS 16, Apple changed the Books app by eliminating the traditional animation used since the first version of the app.

The code in the iOS 16.4 beta confirms the company’s continued work on the Apple Music Classic app and suggests the launch may be close.

The code in the beta suggests that listening to ‌Apple Music‌ Classical will require users to have the standard ‌Apple Music‌ app installed. “To listen in ‌Apple Music‌ Classical, you’ll need to install ‌Apple Music‌,” reads one line in the MusicKit framework.

Right now, there’s no sign of the app in iOS 16.4, but that doesn’t mean it won’t come in a later beta or with the launch of iOS 16.4.

Apple Care Coverage Section

In Settings > General > About where there is the “Coverage” section listing our devices with AppleCare+, all products listed now have an icon depicting the device.

The section was present in beta one, but without the icons.

Podcasts

In the second beta of iOS 16.4 there is a new home screen in the Podcasts app aimed at explaining the new changes introduced on the app.

The app now supports channels in the Library, expanded CarPlay functionality, and an improved Up Next feature that lets us resume episodes and skip what we don’t want to hear.

Since Microsoft expanded its investments in OpenAI to more than $10 billion, the first result has been the new Bing search engine, integrated into the new Edge browser. Now that same Bing also enters Windows 11 and in a central position: in the taskbar, next to the Start button.

Over half a billion users a month, according to Microsoft, use Bing from the Windows 11 taskbar. They will become many more, since it is now possible to use that small box to chat with artificial intelligence and ask it to generate answers.
