Vivo is planning to release its flagship X100 series in India soon. The company recently announced it will launch globally on December 14; however, fans in India might need to wait till next year for its arrival.
The Vivo X100 series will also get some India-exclusive features, which could be one of the reasons behind the possible delay. Here is everything you need to know about the launch of the upcoming flagship phones.
Vivo X100 Series To Launch In India In January 2024
According to a report by 91Mobiles, the Vivo X100 series will debut in the country in early January. The phones will also get an India exclusive feature allowing users to capture the sun’s radiance during sunset and sunrise.
Furthermore, this feature is likely to take advantage of a unique algorithm to reflect the depth and accuracy of the sun instead of relying on AI. The global variants of the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro have received Bluetooth SIG certification, hinting at an imminent release.
The X100 and X100 Pro are already available for purchase in China and cost CNY 3,999 (around Rs.45,000) and CNY 4,999 (Rs.57,100), respectively.
Vivo X100 And X100 Pro Specifications
The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the screen has 3000 nits of peak brightness and 2160Hz PWM dimming.
The MediaTek 9300 processor powers both phones paired with up to 16GB of RAM. Both run on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14 and will have up to 1TB of storage.
For optics, the X100 features a 50-megapixel camera, 64-megapixel periscope lens with 3x zoom and 50-megapixel ultrawide. On the other hand, the X100 Pro boasts a 50-megapixel with a 1-inch sensor, 50-megapixel ultrawide and 50-megapixel periscope with 4.3 zoom.
Both phones have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The X100 has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging, while the X100 Pro has a 5,400mAh battery with 100W charging and 50W wireless charging.
