According to tipster SnoopyTech, OnePlus is considering the introduction of a customized version of its operating system, OxygenOS, specifically tailored for its upcoming foldable smartphone. This special edition, rumoured to be named OxygenOS Fold, is said to draw inspiration from ColorOS Fold, which is offered by OnePlus’ sister brand, Oppo, for their foldable device, the Oppo Find N2. The move indicates OnePlus’ intention to optimize the user experience and functionality of their foldable phone.

Excitement surrounds OnePlus’s forthcoming foldable smartphone as multiple leaks and reports suggest a potential unveiling on August 29. It will showcase an outward folding design, the device may be available in black and green colour variants. Oneplus Open will launch in China before a global release in markets like India and the US. Speculations indicate the purported OnePlus Open could run on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
