Qualcomm has announced a new event to unveil a new flagship Snapdragon chipset. The company will likely launch the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processors, offering upgrades over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen, respectively. Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 And 7+ Gen 3 Could Launch On March 18
Qualcomm is hosting an event in China on March 18, during which it could launch the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processors. Both processors will likely use the same architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen (SM8635) will feature 1 Cortex X4 clocked at 3.01GHz, 4 Cortex A720 at 2.61GHz and 3 Cortex A520 running at 1.84GHz. It will feature the Adrneo 735 GPU and use the same architecture as the 8 Gen 3.
Similarly, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (SM7675) will offer 1 Cortex X4 at 2.9GHz, 4 Cortex A720 at 2.61GHz and 3 Cortex A520 at 1.9GHz. The processor will use the Adreno 732 GPU and succeed the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 from last year.
Furthermore, the Realme GT Neo 6 and Realme GT Neo 6 SE will likely be the first smartphones to use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. Moreover, the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Turbo could use this chipset, in addition to the Vivo Pad 3 and iQOO Neo 9, in China.
Rumours also suggest that the OnePlus Ace 3V, likely to debut as the OnePlus Nord 4 in India, could use the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. At the Qualcomm event, we can expect companies to reveal upcoming smartphones with this chipset.
