Samsung is planning to launch a new rugged smartphone in India soon. The company recently released its flagship Galaxy S24 series in the country and has now shifted its focus to other launches.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 could soon arrive in India, and here’s everything you need to know about it, including its specifications.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 To Launch In India Soon
The Samsung India support website has listed a new model, the “SM-G556B”. It is the same model number as the Galaxy XCover 7, which the company launched earlier this month.
The website lists the model number as “SM-G556BZKDINS” with an IN suffix hinting at an India launch soon. Furthermore, Warranty Manuals and Safety Guides are available for the phone.
Moreover, the phone received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in November 2023. It will be the first rugged smartphone in the XCover series from the South Korean giant in India.
However, it is worth noting that the Samsung XCover and Active series are oriented towards business and enterprise users instead of average consumers. It caters to businesses looking for tough and rugged devices with enterprise-level features.
