Vivo has announced its first G-series phone Vivo G2 with exciting features in the Chinese market. The launch was a little quiet. Last week, the Vivo G2 was spotted on the Google Play Console database and now we can see it officially listed on his website in Vivo China. This is the first G-series phone and comes with up to 8GB of RAM and a 5000mAh battery. The company has released it in four different variants depending on RAM and storage. Vivo G2 is powered by Dimensity 6020 chipset and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. On the storage side, the device offers up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Other side, microSD card slot for additional storage. Additionally, the device comes pre-installed with Android 13 based on Origin OS 3. It has a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 13-megapixel single camera with LED flash on the back.
Vivo G2 features a 6.56-inch LCD panel with a teardrop notch. The screen has an HD+ resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at 15W via the USB-C port. The device also offers other features such as dual SIM, 5G, 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a side fingerprint scanner.
Vivo G2 is available in four variants in Deep Sea Black: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256 GB. So, these variants are priced at CNY 1,199 (Rs 14,152), CNY 1,499 (Rs 17,693), CNY 1,599 (Rs 18,874) and CNY 1,899 (Rs 22,415) respectively.
